Jesus I miss him.

My first dogs were Bassets and so you can imagine how stoked i was when magical Lizzy, Patron Saint of Wayward Creatures (winged, pawed, hoofed....), and I came across this wonder-mutt: 1/2 Black Lab - 1/2 Basset.

We called him "Banna"...looked like a Basset in a black Tux.

I miss that "little gentleman" and I miss the kind of (at least semi-) settled life that would allow me the luxury of this great magical world of relations.

Peace to you wherever you are Banna-man. Please forgive your wandering human-friend for having wandered (again) too far.
